Stainless Steel 904L is manufactured as per global standards including ASTM B366 / ASME B16.9 for Buttweld Fittings, ASTM B649 / ASME B16.11 for Forged Fittings, ASTM B649 / ASME B16.5 & B16.47 for Flanges, and MSS SP-97 for Olets. We offer fittings such as elbows, tees, reducers, stub ends, and caps from ½” to 24” NB, forged fittings from 1/8” to 4”, and flanges in pressure ratings from 150# to 2500#. Common flange types include Weld Neck, Blind, Slip-On, Lap Joint, and Threaded flanges. All products are tested, certified, and available with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification, along with third-party inspections if required.
SS 904L is well-suited for applications involving aggressive chemical exposure, including fertilizer plants, marine exhaust systems, pulp and paper machinery, pickling tanks, heat exchangers, and seawater cooling systems. The alloy’s high nickel and molybdenum content ensure superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, while its low carbon content prevents sensitization and intergranular corrosion. It is also non-magnetic in all conditions and offers excellent weldability and formability, making it a reliable material for demanding fabrication and installation environments where conventional stainless steels may fail.
