Stainless Steel 317L is a low-carbon variation of SS 317, offering enhanced weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. The fittings and flanges are manufactured as per the following standards: ASTM A403 / ASME B16.9 for Buttweld Fittings, ASTM A182 / ASME B16.5 & B16.47 for Flanges, ASTM A182 / ASME B16.11 for Forged Fittings, and ASTM A182 / MSS SP-97 for Olets. We offer SS 317 buttweld fittings from 1/2” to 48”, forged fittings from 1/8” to 4”, and flanges from 1/2” NB to 24” NB in pressure ratings from 150# to 2500#. Products are supplied with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2) and complete traceability.
Our SS 317L Buttweld Fittings include 90° and 45° elbows, concentric and eccentric reducers, equal and reducing tees, stub ends, and caps. Forged fittings are offered in both Socket Weld and Threaded forms, including elbows, tees, couplings, unions, plugs, bushings, caps, and swage nipples – all conforming to ASME B16.11. Flange types include Weld Neck, Slip-On, Blind, Socket Weld, Lap Joint, Threaded, and Orifice flanges manufactured to ASME B16.5/B16.47. We also supply a full range of branch connection fittings such as Weldolet, Threadolet, Sockolet, Latrolet, and Nipolet as per MSS SP-97.
Stainless Steel 317/317L is widely used in food processing, chemical plants, heat exchangers, water treatment, pulp & paper, oil & gas, and structural fabrication due to its excellent corrosion resistance and ease of fabrication. It is especially suitable for welded applications without the need for post-weld annealing. Key advantages include high durability, excellent mechanical strength, resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion, and superior hygiene for sanitary applications.
