Incoloy 825 is known for its excellent resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids, chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, and pitting/crevice corrosion. The alloy offers a tensile strength of approximately 550 MPa, and operates effectively in temperatures up to 540°C (1000°F). Products are available in sizes ranging from ½” NB to 48” NB, with pressure ratings from 150# to 2500# for flanges and up to 9000# for forged components. All materials are produced under a strict ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system, with complete traceability and rigorous inspection protocols including PMI, ultrasonic, hydrostatic, and mechanical testing.
Incoloy 825 is widely used in chemical processing plants, acid production units, offshore platforms, nuclear fuel reprocessing, and pickling equipment. Key advantages include excellent resistance to a wide variety of corrosive environments, strong mechanical properties under pressure and heat, and good weldability without post-weld heat treatment. Its ability to withstand both acidic and chloride-rich conditions makes it a preferred material for systems requiring reliability, safety, and long service life in corrosive applications.
